280km
: Declared a diamond task, Milfield, Duns, Scotch Corner, Milfield.Total
distance 311km. Unfortunately did not get back but landed out at a
house called Knogley just alongside the A697 North of Longframlington.
Returning North of the Tyne the lift was dying so I diverted East
to reach more hospitable landing and retrieving fields. My longest
declared flight - I'm dissapointed not to have completed the task
but pleased with the total distance. Next time !!!! |
